	My research, through necessity, must be very restricted. It is possible that they were
	descended from the noble family of Hawksworth of Hawksworth.

	
	Therefore looking only for ancestors of -

	
	Joseph Hawkesworth, a Great-Grandfather of the Webmaster. I have found him on the 1881 
	and the 1901 Census ; see below

	Mr. John Hawksworth, currier of Leeds, died on Sunday evening, Feb. 9th, 1817, in the 	92nd year of his age, It was a remarkable fact the business had been carried on by the 	family upwards of a century.
